Centrifugal Fan First-Use Guidelines
Is your centrifugal fan vibrating or making strange noises as soon as it starts?
The problem might start right from the first step!
Remember these five steps when using a new fan for the first time:
1️⃣ Manual Rotation
Turn the impeller by hand with power off.
Clear any sticking or scraping issues first.
2️⃣ Check Rotation Direction
Momentarily start the fan to verify the arrow direction.
If it runs backward, airflow drops to only about 30%.
3️⃣ No-Load Start
Close the damper before starting.
Starting under load can burn out the motor.
4️⃣ Gradual Airflow Increase
Open the valves in three stages.
Monitor motor current and check bearing temperature.
5️⃣ Avoid Surge
If the fan suddenly shakes and airflow fluctuates,
open the main damper immediately.
⚠️ Don’t forget to add lubrication before the first run.
Follow these five tips, and your fan can last 3 extra years.
Customer Testimonials
Trusted by industrial partners across 30+ countries — real feedback from our global clients.
“We’ve been using Dajing’s 9-19 high-pressure centrifugal blowers for our dust removal system. The airflow performance is excellent, and the noise level is much lower than our previous models. Truly reliable quality.”
