To extend the service life of on-site fans, the following four points should be strictly followed:

1. Listen:
During operation, monitor for abnormal noises, including friction sounds, impact noises, and surge sounds. If any unusual noise is detected, stop the fan immediately and carry out an inspection.

2. Measure:
Monitor the temperature of the bearing housing and motor during operation. The bearing housing temperature should not exceed 80°C, or should remain within 40°C above the ambient temperature.

3. Observe:
Pay attention to the operating current. It is recommended to keep the current at around 90% of the rated current. If the current is too high, check the duct system or inspect the fan for possible faults.

4. Check:
Inspect the oil level in the bearing housing. Check through the oil sight glass. The oil level should not exceed the red warning line on the oil window and should not be lower than half of the oil window. Both excessive and insufficient oil levels can affect the fan’s service life.
